Bozeman Branch Library

Situated next to Meadowlark Elementary School and Gallatin High School, this project extends the reach of the Bozeman Public Library System to service the west end of town. The site has been redesigned and converted into a wetland providing a space for visitors to understand the many layers of life in the wetlands, and creating a space for wildlife to seek refuge in the sprawling developments on this side of town. The building peels back and exposes the ground from inside, allowing the water and snow to move through the center axis of the space.
